Ric is a specialist in commercial issues affecting the sustainable energy industry, covering renewable power generation, solar energy , gas fired generation and energy efficiency. Over the last ten years he was the Executive Director of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy. Prior to leading the BCSE, Ric worked with Westcoast Energy Australia, Fletcher Challenge Energy, was the Project Manager for the Victorian Gas Industry Reform Unit, and Finance Manager for John Holland. He started his career in Woodside Petroleum where he held a number of positions including corporate planning, gas marketing and finance.

Sarah Morton

Sarah Morton is an energy and greenhouse specialist covering energy efficiency, renewable power generation and solar energy. Sarah has spent the last three years working with the Business Council for Sustainable Energy/ Clean Energy Council as an energy and greenhouse analyst where she worked on policy, advocacy, research and industry development.

Prior to the BCSE Sarah worked as a medical officer as well as in project management, teaching and curriculum development roles in the health and tertiary education sectors.

Nick Peters

Nick has recently completed his Honours year in Politics and Policy Studies at Deakin University. His thesis, entitled Climate Change, the Howard Government and the Politics of Risk was a major study into the political processes behind the formation of climate change policy under the Howard government.

Prior to this, Nick completed his Bachelor of Arts majoring in International relations and History, covering a broad range of subjects including global environmental politics, international governance and foreign relations.
