SOLAR report workbooks

GEM’s Solar workbooks (in MS Excel) are provided monthly to subscribers of Green Energy Markets’ Solar Report. The workbooks include data on PV SGU systems, PV SGU capacity, Battery SGU systems, Battery SGU capacity, SWH systems, STCs, and solar power stations (including LGC creation). The Excel workbooks are interactive, enabling clients to dissect the data by state, time period, fuel source, sector and more. In addition to the Solar workbooks listed below, postcode workbooks are available also.

Systems Solar workbook

  • List of worksheets included in the Systems Solar Workbook

    The Systems Solar workbook houses data related PV SGU system registrations, PV SGU installed capacity, and SWH system registrations. The Table of Content includes list of worksheets included in the workbook and tips on use.

  • PV SGU

    The PV SGU worksheets include a suite of charts and tables, breaking down PV systems by state, sector, capacity band, creation month/year.

  • PV SGU - Residential

    The PV SGU Residential worksheet focuses on the Residential sector (<15kW) and includes a range charts and tables, breaking PV systems by state, sector, capacity band, creation year/month. A separate worksheet is included for the Commercial sector.

  • PV SGU - Top creators

    The Top Creators charts the Top 10 PV Creators in the specified period (which is adjustable), and can be filtered by state, sector and capacity band. A complete listing of creators in order of creation is provided in the table, with creators’ market share. A worksheet for the Top 10 SWH creators is also provided, which can be filtered by Fuel Source (ASHP/non-ASHP)

  • PV SGU - Look up creator

    The Look Up Creator worksheet enables client to review the creation profile for any creator, providing details on market share, rank, systems creation. This can be filtered by state, time period and sector. A worksheet for SWH creators is also provided.

  • SWH systems

    The SWH Systems worksheet includes a suite of charts and table, breaking down SWH systems by state, fuel source, creation month/year.

  • Battery systems

    Battery system registrations by week, with slicers to filter by time period and state. Includes number of systems, nominal capacity and average system size.

  • Battery Creators

    Battery system registrations by creator, with option to filter by month and state.

STC solar workbook

  • List of worksheets included in the STC Solar Workbook

    The STC Solar workbook houses data related to STCs, ie creation, holdings, surrenders, meeting the Target.

  • Creation by year

    There are several worksheets covering STC creation - by year, by state and fuel type.

  • STC Holdings

    The STC Holdings sheet lists entities which are holding STCs and the volume.

  • Tracking to Target

    The Tracking to Target worksheet assesses how annual STC creation is tracking to the STP Target. Includes tracking to both a static Target and one based on historical creation trends. Includes average weekly creation levels.

  • STC Surrenders

    The STC Surrenders worksheet provides information on surrenders by Entities under the relevant compliance periods.

Solar Power station register

  • Solar power station register

    The Solar Power Station Register lists all power stations which are either listed as a PV power station in the CER’s REC Registry or has created LGCs with PV as the fuel source. Details on the power station include Owner, accreditation code, Start date, approval date and capacity.

  • Projects by Accreditation Date

    The Projects by Accreditation date enables clients to review Solar power stations by start date, sector (small/ utility), state start. Data is provided in chart and table format.

  • Solar power projects - LGC creation

    The LGC Creation worksheet provides LGC creation by each Solar Power Station by year. Data can be filtered by state, year, sector or owner.

Deemed Report Workbook

  • Deemed Report

    The Deemed Report details STC creation by creator by month and fuel source. Data can be filtered by time period, state, fuel source and creator type.

  • Deemed Report

    STC creation data can be viewed by creator by month, either by STC volume or market share. Data can be filtered using various slicers.

  • Deemed Report - Top Creators

    View the top STC creators, filtered by Time period, Fuel source, State and Creator type
